Izzie Balmer partner has not been publicly confirmed. Several online biographies name Will Hawley and claim that the two married in 2016, but we could not trace that claim to a reliable primary source.
What can be established is Balmer’s professional career. Auction-house records, BBC programme information and a first-person interview document her work as an auctioneer, valuer and jewellery specialist.
So, is Will Hawley really Izzie Balmer’s husband? The available evidence does not establish that. The 2016 marriage remains an unverified claim, and Balmer’s current relationship status has not been publicly confirmed.

Who Is Izzie Balmer’s Partner?
We did not find a reliable public source in which Balmer identifies a partner or husband. Her auction-house profiles focus on her work. They cover her qualifications, her jobs and her TV roles. None of them mention a spouse.
Some websites link her to Will Hawley. That alone does not make it fact. It would be wrong to say she is definitely married to him. It would be just as wrong to say she is single.
The most accurate description is that the claim is unconfirmed. Photos, social media posts or a missing wedding ring cannot settle the question. Those things say very little about someone’s private life.
Is Izzie Balmer Married?
The public sources we found do not document a confirmed marriage. Some online pages call her married. Others give no details at all. The pages that make the claim do not show where it came from.
The available evidence therefore does not establish whether she is married. Without a reliable source, the 2016 marriage should not be treated as established fact.
Who Is Will Hawley?
Will Hawley is the name linked to Balmer on several biography-style websites. Some call him her husband. Others call him her partner. They also connect the two to a wedding in 2016.
We found no statement from Balmer that names him. We also found no official profile that does. We did not find a reputable news report that confirms the claim either.
Because of this, we have not built a biography of Hawley. Writing about a person’s life from unchecked claims would be unfair to him and to Balmer. His name is part of the online story, but his role in her life is not established.
Did Izzie Balmer Marry Will Hawley in 2016?
A 2016 wedding between Izzie Balmer and Will Hawley is a recurring claim in online biographies. Some sites add a location and other small details. Extra detail does not prove that a wedding took place.
The pages we found making this claim are mostly biography-style websites. They are not primary sources or established news outlets. Many sites repeating a story is not the same as proof. Each copy may simply come from the one before it.
Balmer’s career records say nothing about a marriage. Wessex Auction Rooms and Clevedon Salerooms both describe her work, not her family. We could not verify the wedding through a reliable primary source, so it remains an unverified online claim.
Where Did the Will Hawley Claim Come From?
We could not find a reliable original source for the claim. The pages we found repeat the relationship and the 2016 marriage without pointing to a clear primary source.
Repeated claims are not the same as independent confirmation. A claim gets much stronger when it traces back to the person involved. An official record or a reputable news report can also do that job.
Balmer’s career has a clear trail. It includes auction-house announcements, BBC records and a first-person interview. The Will Hawley claim does not have the same level of public documentation.
Does Izzie Balmer Have a Boyfriend?
We found no reliable public source that confirms a current boyfriend, fiancé or husband. Her interviews and profiles stay on her career. That does not mean she has no partner.
It only means her relationship status could not be established from the public sources we found. The evidence does not show whether she is married, dating, single or otherwise partnered.
What Is Izzie Balmer’s Relationship Status Today?
Right now, her relationship status is not publicly established. Photos, social media activity or a lack of relationship posts would not settle it. They tell us very little.
What is public is her work. Clevedon Salerooms lists her as part of its 2026 valuation team. In a 2025 Origin Workspace interview, she talked about her freelance valuation and consultancy work alongside TV.
Based on the public sources available, “not publicly confirmed” is the most accurate description of her current relationship status.
Who Is Izzie Balmer?
Izzie Balmer is an auctioneer, valuer and gemmologist. Her work centres on antiques, jewellery and silver. She also appears on BBC antiques shows.
Her qualifications are well documented. She holds the FGA gemmology diploma and the DGA diamond diploma. Both come from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.
Clevedon Salerooms lists both on her profile. Its page also says she worked as a Silver and Jewellery Specialist at a regional auction house before joining. Her professional background includes years of auction-house and valuation work alongside her television career.
Izzie Balmer’s Auctioneering Career
Balmer did not start out in television. In a July 2025 interview with Origin Workspace, she said she studied Geography at university. She then returned to Derby with no clear career plan.
She worked in a vintage shop for a while. Then she did work experience at a local auction house. That grew into full-time work.
She began with simple jobs like packing and posting items. Later she moved into cataloguing, valuation days and other saleroom tasks. To build her knowledge, she completed the FGA and DGA diplomas in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
Wessex Auction Rooms
A big step came in January 2018. Wessex Auction Rooms announced Balmer as its new Head Valuer. It described her as a qualified gemmologist with two diplomas from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.
Wessex later identified her as its Head Valuer and Jewellery Specialist. It also followed her growing TV career.
From Auction House to Freelance Work
Balmer later moved into freelance work. In her Origin Workspace interview, she listed what her days can include. That covers valuations, probate reports and consultancy for auction houses.
She also supports retailers and works on downsizing projects and estates. TV, she said, is only one part of her job. Her screen work sits on top of a solid valuation background.
Izzie Balmer on TV
Balmer’s TV career grew alongside her auction work. Her appearances are documented by BBC programme records. Reports from auction houses where she has worked back them up.
Bargain Hunt
Her TV debut came on Bargain Hunt. Filming took place at Wessex Auction Rooms, and she took part. Wessex later kept calling her a BBC TV antiques expert.
BBC Programme Index lists her as an expert on the show, including episodes from Series 67 and Series 68 in 2024.
Street Auction
Wessex says Balmer was also part of BBC One’s Street Auction. The series aired in December 2018. She co-presented it with Paul Martin and Danny Sebastian.
Antiques Road Trip
Balmer became an expert on Antiques Road Trip soon after Bargain Hunt. In 2019, Wessex reported that she was appearing on the show with James Braxton. BBC Programme Index shows more appearances.
One is a 2021 episode in which she travelled through Wales with Tim Medhurst. Another is a 2022 episode with David Harper. BBC and Wessex records cover her appearances across several years.
The Travelling Auctioneers
Balmer has also been linked to The Travelling Auctioneers. In January 2026, RWB Auctions announced that the BBC show would film at its saleroom on January 28. Izzie Balmer was among the presenters named.
The announcement points to her continued TV involvement in 2026. It also shows she still balances screen work with valuation work.
Jewellery and Gemmology Expertise
Jewellery is one of Balmer’s core skills. It is not just a topic she talks about on TV. At Clevedon Salerooms, she brings specialist knowledge to valuation days. Her professional work includes jewellery and silver valuation.
She holds the FGA gemmology diploma and the DGA diamond diploma. Both are linked to the Gemmological Association of Great Britain. Clevedon lists them on her professional profile.
Her earlier role at Wessex also centred on jewellery and silver. Clevedon’s 2026 valuation calendar still lists her among its gemmologists. Those events cover jewellery, coins, silver and luxury items.

Izzie Balmer’s Current Work
Balmer’s current professional work includes valuation, jewellery and television. Clevedon Salerooms lists her as Jewellery Consultant and Associate Valuation Specialist. It says she joined its team of valuers in 2024.
She works on valuation days in Bristol and at Clevedon. Alongside this, she does freelance valuation and consultancy work. That matches what she described in her 2025 interview.
Her current public work combines valuation, jewellery expertise, freelance consultancy and television.
